If you see something, say something.
Leaders can be wrapped up in tracking progress, marketing strategies and the regular day to day of running a business consisting of fallible humans. That said, leaders can be perceived as though they are disconnected to those they lead. Even though they work tirelessly to support their team, they can appear unappreciative.
The solution is simple.
If you see something, say something.
When someone on the team does something “right,” goes the extra mile, they know that they did and they hope you noticed. When a salesperson has just closed a great deal they are usually aware if their leadership knows about it. (Let’s face it, Sales Managers look at sales progress all day).
How easy it is to say, “Hey, great sale,” or “Thanks for doing that.” It can make a really big difference to some people, and it doesn’t cost anything! It is the Best ROI Ever!!! The simple truth is – people who are happy perform better. Leaders are always telling their team to be positive. What a simple way to cultivate a positive environment.
If you see something – say something!
