Tranquility like no other…

I wrote “Tranquility like no other,” sitting at the shore of the Atlantic Ocean one block from the apartment I lived in for 7 “life changing” years. I wrote this the day before my lifelong dream came true. The day before the closing on my first home. The day before I would feel like everything up to this point, everything that brought me here, was worth it. Seven years prior I experienced a devastating loss, moved to the ocean, and was healed by the sea as if it was the voice and hand of God. To me, it was.

With joy for my future, I sat realizing that I was leaving the sea behind. Although I would be 20 minutes away… we would not be sharing those sudden treasured moments of tranquility.

I was thankful…and I needed my salty healer to know.

Don’t we all need a place to go?

Don’t we all need a place where we are whole and at peace?

Don’t we all need a place to take deep breaths?

Do you have a place?

If not, the sea will welcome you….
